It is a great honor to be the caretakers and benefactors of this great mare. Her rise through the ranks of the show ring as the epitome of a Morgan mare left her name a household word in breed circles. Now a renown producer of winning show horses, we incorporated her as a foundation of our broodstock by using her daughter by Mizrahi, Joan Rose, and we are looking toward the future by planning what we hope will be another filly to eventually replace her dam. Her 2008 offspring, Sarde's Charlemagne (by Minion Millennium), is an outstanding example of the power of this grand mare's breeding. Currently, her 2007 daughter Sarde's Silhouette, by Favorite Son (Noble Flaire x MyBlue Heaven), is available for purchase. She is also the dam of Sarde's Sneak Attack (by Favorite Son), recently purchased at the 2008 Signature Sale by Earl and Susan Zimmerman. Her 2009 foal was Stonecroft Tiara, an outstanding bay filly by Stonecroft Trilogy now owned by Copper Beech LLC. In 2010, Shalimar produced a gorgeous bay full sister to WC Joan Rose, Sarde's Gypsy Rose (by WC Mizrahi).

Shalimar is also the dam of Regional Champion Sarde's Town Flirt (2000), World Champion Joan Rose (2000), Reserve World Champion Sarde's Sinful (2001), Sarde's Scrumptious (2003), Stonecroft Olivia (2003), Reserve Grand National Champion Winterset Rhyme Thyme (2003), Mendon Ladies Man (2003), World Champion Stonecroft Trillium (2004), MEM Desperado (2004) and Sarde's Sneak Attack (2005).
